Star Trek Thoughts

      I really love the first four incarnations of Star Trek. It's difficult to pick a favourite series, especially taking into consideration when they were made. Anyway, I would like to make a couple of personal points.     One concerns The Next Generation. It would have been great if there had been a spin off series featuring Wesley Crusher and The Traveller. Those two characters were so cool and I could imagine all sorts of futuristic, space travel/mental new agedness happening with that set-up.     The second point is about Voyager. I sometimes think that this series doesn't get enough love. I rewatched it recently and although some episodes, (like with all series - specially when there like 26 eps per season), are a little dodgey, there are a lot of stories that really get to me. (eg Blink of an Eye, Muse, Real life). Little gems that are funny and really moving. Maybe I'm soft, but some of those character interactions are.....well, as I said - they work for me.     Not the most important thing in the world, but I just had to get it off my mind.
