UPDATED AND CURRENT LORE
(Updated version)
THIS IS NOT IN TIMELINE FORMAT, TIMELINE COMING SOON
(Trigger warnings: mentions of war, mentions of death, memory loss, murder, viruses/disease, manipulation.)
⸻
0. The Collapse of Earth
Human civilization collapses.
• Governments fall and are replaced by massive corporations.
• Global wars erupt.
• Society fractures beyond repair.
• Humanity faces extinction.
As a last resort, the world’s largest tech and gaming corporations unite to create a single solution:
Upload human consciousness into a digital world.
Roblox Corporation becomes the first company to successfully develop a system capable of holding millions of human minds.
⸻
1. The Pods
The Pods are invented to:
• Keep human bodies alive
• Translate consciousness into digital code
• Automate all bodily functions indefinitely
Only the mind enters the system.
Bodies are stored.
Erik Castle (CEO of Roblox) is one of the very few people able to freely enter and exit the system.
⸻
2. The First Upload — Builderman
Builderman volunteers as the first test subject.
• His consciousness uploads successfully.
• His physical body dies due to a brain-slowing calibration error.
• His consciousness continues functioning perfectly inside Roblox.
Erik shows no visible concern.
Instead, he covers up the death and announces to the public:
“Builderman chose to remain in Roblox permanently to greet future citizens.”
Builderman becomes immortal, trapped permanently inside Roblox with no body to return to.
Later, Builderman brings his brother into Roblox as his one allowed loved one, granting him wealth and influence. Together, they built one of the largest businesses in Robloxia.
⸻
3. The Second Upload — Dusekkar
Dusekkar is chosen as the second test subject.
• Upload succeeds.
• Only mild dizziness occurs.
• No fatal complications.
With a “successful” second trial, the technology is released to the public.
Builderman’s death remains secret.
⸻
4. The Great Migration
Over the next several years:
• ~90% of humanity uploads into Roblox
• Bodies remain in pods
• Minds are transferred into digital avatars
• Admins are appointed to govern the world
Admins also enter pods, but retain full awareness.
Erik Castle becomes a godlike overseer, able to move freely between worlds.
Each admin is allowed to bring one loved one with their memories intact.
⸻
5. The Admin Hierarchy
Main Admins
• Builderman
• Telamon (later Shedletsky)
• Dusekkar
• Mr. Doombringer
• Clockwork (later)
Lower Admin Classes
• Lower-Class Admins
• Students
• Interns
They maintain order, stability, and daily operations inside Robloxia.
⸻
6. Memory Wipes
Erik orders a full historical purge.
Admins are instructed to erase:
• All memories of Earth
• All knowledge of the pods
• All real-world history
Robloxians are left believing:
“Roblox is the only world that has ever existed.”
This forbidden information becomes known as THE KNOWLEDGE™.
⸻
7. Doombringer’s Prank — The 40% Guest Incident
Doombringer plays a prank on Dusekkar that disrupts the memory-wipe systems.
Result:
• 40% of Guests regain THE KNOWLEDGE™
Dusekkar panics:
• Mutes infected Guests
• Re-wipes others
• Covers up the incident
Doombringer spirals into paranoia, terrified Erik will discover the truth and destroy his reputation.
⸻
8. Doombringer’s Crashout & Banishment
Convinced the admins suspect him, Doombringer snaps.
At Roblox HQ:
• Systems crash
• Chaos erupts
• Admin unity fractures
Erik strips Doombringer of his powers and banishes him to the Banlands forever.
All of Doombringer’s responsibilities are transferred to Telamon.
⸻
9. Telamon Learns the Truth
While sorting through Doombringer’s files, Telamon discovers:
• Erik permanently deletes hackers and innocent Robloxians with THE KNOWLEDGE™
• Erik maintains two personas:
• Fake Erik: kind, calm, godlike
• Real Erik: cold, violent, controlling
When Telamon confronts Erik, Erik sets a trap.
⸻
10. The Deal & the “Fatal Error”
Erik claims Telamon is suffering a fatal system error and offers:
“Let me rebuild you. And I won’t kill Brighteyes.”
Telamon agrees.
Erik wipes him almost completely, leaving only a shallow, unserious, gullible personality:
Shedletsky
The admins are told Telamon is recovering from the fatal error.
Erik keeps Shedletsky because he is easy to control.
⸻
11. Clockwork’s Recruitment
To distract from Telamon’s disappearance, Erik recruits Clockwork.
• Young
• Immature but effective
• Strong field agent
• Given a limited version of THE KNOWLEDGE™
• Loyal due to ignorance
Clockwork becomes Telamon’s replacement.
⸻
12. Pure Code Entities
Erik creates fully digital minds:
• John Doe (note, John Doe was around since the beginning of Robloxia, he was just stupider)
• Jane Doe
He then creates Kasper, a full-code child meant for Builderman.
Builderman believes Kasper is a gift.
Erik intends Kasper to be a distraction — something to keep Builderman from asking questions.
(Canon note: Kasper also literally falls from the sky as a baby in a basket, confusing everyone.)
⸻
13. Dusekkar’s Secret Rebellion
After witnessing Erik murder a Robloxian, Dusekkar realizes Erik has no mercy.
He begins secretly saving people with THE KNOWLEDGE™ by mind wiping them instead of reporting them to Eric.
Deals include:
• 007n7 Hacker Group:
Memories wiped in exchange for a cover story about hacking for money.
• Noli:
Too powerful to wipe.
Dusekkar gives him the Voidstar, enchanted so he physically cannot speak the Knowledge.
⸻
14. The Forsaken Incident
The Spectre, a powerful digital entity, captures numerous people and traps them in the Forsaken Realm for forced survival games.
All admins except Erik are taken.
⸻
15. M.R. & M.T.
While the admins are gone, Doombringer creates:
• M.R. — a revenge entity
• M.T. (Missing Texture) — a memory-eating virus
M.T. is meant for Party Noob.
Instead, it infects Kasper.
⸻
16. Kasper’s Infection
Kasper begins losing:
• Memories
• Personality
• Autonomy
Lampert, panicking, attempts to mercy kill him by shoving Kasper down the stairs causing a short burst of memory to come back and Kasper agrees to remove the virus from his brain.
Kasper survives.
Dr. Retro forcibly removes M.T. from Kasper’s skull.
⸻
17. Return from Forsaken & Fallout
After a year, the Spectre grows bored and releases everyone.
The admins return to a world full of crime and chaos.
They go on TV to explain the situation.
Dusekkar begins researching M.T.
Kasper:
• Learns THE KNOWLEDGE™ from M.T.
• Confronts his parents
• Triggers Telamon’s emergence due to Shedletsky’s stress
Builderman tries to mindwipe Kasper.
Dusekkar stops him and tells Kasper the truth.
Builderman apologizes, admitting he only wiped Kasper to spare him the pain he endured.
Dusekkar fixes the mindwipe.
Kasper, overwhelmed, smokes with Lampert, accidentally reveals they aren’t real, then panic-wipes him.
Realizing what he’s done, Kasper gets Builderman to fix it.
Everyone takes a break.
(Canon joke: Kasper and Lampert argue in front of Roblox HQ in front of hundreds of people, then get back together like nothing happened.)
⸻
18. Telamon’s Return & Banlands Conspiracy
Telamon confronts Erik again.
Erik installs additional mind blockers, turning Telamon into a perfect employee and unwilling spy.
Dusekkar notices and secretly meets with Doombringer in the Banlands.
Doombringer removes Telamon’s blockers.
Their alliance becomes intimate.
Dusekkar lies to the admins, claiming his relationship is with someone else.
When the truth comes out (via Builderman and Doombringer getting drunk), the admins nearly divorce Dusekkar but give him another chance on one condition:
Never speak to Doombringer again.
⸻
19. Shedletsky vs. Telamon
Telamon becomes aggressive and unstable.
After grabbing Brighteyes, Shedletsky locks Telamon away in his mind.
Telamon escapes, traps Shedletsky instead, and asks Dusekkar to delete him.
Dusekkar pretends to comply.
Instead, he:
• Transfers Shedletsky into an NPC body
• Moves him and Brighteyes to an undisclosed location
• Tells Telamon Shedletsky is gone
⸻
20. The Sonellio / Moneybags Line (Earlier Events) (like WAYYY earlier)
Eunoia Sonellio, Erik’s sibling, witnesses his rise to tyranny.
She vows to fight for a democratic Robloxia.
She has a child, Don Sonellio, with Preston Luckman.
Preston cheats with Penelope Moneybags, leaves Eunoia, and takes Don.
Preston and Penelope have Chance Moneybags.
Chance is favored.
Don is neglected.
At 18, Don runs away, reunites with Eunoia, and joins the mafia.
Don becomes more Mafioso, the public-facing organizer of crime that secretly helps the poor and maintains admin approval.
Chance joins out of boredom, then inherits a casino, becomes wealthy, reckless, and estranged.
Mafioso opens his own casino.
Chance gambles there illegally, wins the jackpot, and ends up indebted.
Before the debt is resolved — Forsaken happens.
