The Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics in Rio start to come to an end with closing speeches shown on a TV on the rooftop of a home in a favela that overlooks nearby Maracana Stadium.

The Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics happen in the distance at Maracana Stadium as kids in a favela play while the event is playing on a screen nearby.

A very memorable ride on a motorcycle last night going up on narrow and steep winding roads that lead into a favela on a mountain overlooking Maracana Stadium. I shot the fireworks of the Opening Ceremonies. So many rich things to see and experience in this favela as long as you have security or go in groups. Quite an amazing night we had.
