Buckeyes' grip strength
Prompt 24 - Grip
@jeggyverses-jegulus-microfic March 24, Word count 370
Previous part First part
Regulus was losing his grip on reality. He liked James. He liked his brother’s best friend. He’d never liked anyone before. He’d tolerated men to get his needs seen to, but he’d felt nothing for them.
“I — I need to go,” he stammered, throwing some money — he had no idea how much — on the table and stumbling from the bistro, leaving a chuckling Remus behind.
He walked forward, unaware of where he was going. Luckily, his feet managed to take him home. He was shocked when he looked up and saw his front door in front of him. He had no recollection of having got there.
“Finally decided to come home then?” Barty huffed from the sofa, a dark circular bruise staring at Regulus like a third eye from the middle of his forehead. Regulus ignored him and walked into the bathroom. He leant over the bath and put the plug in before turning the hot water tap on. He added some of Pandora’s bubble bath, the smell of bubblegum filling the small room, and stared at the slowly filling tub.
Someone knocked at the door.
“Reg, you okay?” Evan asked, not opening the door as Barty would’ve. “Reg?” he asked, knocking again.
“Not really,” Regulus admitted, and Evan opened the door.
“What’s going on?”
A mound of bubbles toppled over and swirled around in the water stream. “Reg?” Evan put a gentle hand on his shoulder, and Regulus finally looked up.
“I like James,” he confessed, his jaw trembling. Evan wrapped him in his arms, but didn’t seem surprised by Regulus’s confession.
Evan helped him into the bath, taking his clothes and folding them on the bathroom chair, and went into the kitchen to get him a drink. Then left him alone, popping his head in after an hour to make sure he was still all right. By the time Regulus got out, the water was cold, and his fingers and toes were wrinkled so much that the raised skin was white.
His friends were waiting for him in the living room, and to their credit, they didn’t say anything until he was ready.
“So,” Evan said once Regulus was seated. “What are we going to do about James?”

Time for backstories 😊. Ace is up first, because he's the leader.
I didn't realize so many people were actively waiting for more Loonatics art, but I keep getting questions about it.
Rest of the team coming soon.
