Tumblr gave me an ad for "Eric van Aro" who is a singer in his 60's. His sound seems fairly unique. Lots of piano and a lot of minor chords, sometimes jarringingly so, but then the song with that was called "Obsession" so maybe that was on purpose.

Google says his genre is jazz. There was so much other stuff going on in that music I didn't notice. I don't think he's bad, I just think he's artsy and probably an acquired taste. Artsy enough that I don't think stars are a useful metric.
