I loved Chapter 4! He's so gentle and caring with her. He'd really make a wonderful boyfriend/husband. But she's so blinded by Nel that she can't see him as anything more than a casual buddy. And now I feel like we're about to get a lot of angst. He's gonna go for that other girl just to appease his father. At this moment in time, I'm not sure that's gonna bother OC though, since all she sees in him is that casual buddy. If he does get with that other girl, he probably won't be able to spend much time with OC. I really hope that we see some jealousy on her part once she "loses" him a little bit. Something has to make her miss him and realize she wants him romantically. I think once that happens, he'll drop whichever girl he's dating and come running back to OC.

I’m so happy you liked it!!! He really is such a soft boy, and he’s never had to handle anything like this before. He likes a girl who doesn’t even see him, and of course he’s going to respect her and her relationship. So it’s something he’s learning to navigate as he goes. But now he’s realizing he might not be strong enough to deal with all the feelings, so he’s doing what he can.

You don’t think it’s going to bother OC?? Interesting, interesting. Love this take on it.

Actually I’m loving your whole take on what your’re thinking! It’s so fun to see the ideas that are bubbling up! But we’ll just have to see what happens ;))
