TRUE STORY: This past holiday week/weekend was very long and tiresome. We work a lot around these parts (in my southern drawl 😜), but we keeps us going are the relationships we have with YOU!!! 👇🏾 However, Saturday was a very touching day. I get an email requesting our presence for a party. I was a little apprehensive because I was tired and I wanted to recharge my battery packs. Not to mention I had to bury my brother from another mother, #EricSeanJackson on Friday and I wasn’t my normal self 😢. Needless to say, I asked more questions about the party and found out it was a community celebration for the untimely passing of her late husband. She followed by saying my husband, #YanteeNeufville and I met you at #EasternMarket on a Sunday and he loved your #FrozenCustard - especially the #TurtlePecanSundae. When I tell you this lifted my spirits. I said “see ya Saturday”! I arrive to the party and Malika gives me a big hug 🤗 and says #THANKYOU!!! My reply: “it’s an honor to celebrate his legacy with his village.” Talk about a celebration, spirit lifter and making a new friend feel like an old fiend. 👌🏾When I tell you #GOD is good all the time - let the church say #Amen2x 🙏🏾.
