"Oh, Little Lady, My Ayesha…." Erik smiled dejectedly, quietly moving to lift the cat into his trembling arms. Oh his little Darling, of course… he couldn’t leave her trapped down here. Who would care for her? “It’s alright…" 

Ayesha let herself curl into the crook of his arm, not caring whether or not her fur was becoming matted with blood. She began to lick his exposed arm, purring louder and louder. " You're alright, Papa? I knew you would be." And yet, her little whiskers looked droopy, her eyes passionate in her desire to keep him. She was a selfish girl, she knew it well.

It may take me a little longer to write replies, as I just got Phantom on my iPad, and I'm planning to read it so I can get a better knowledge of Erik's backstory. Call it a little writing improvement, if you will. 

I'll just be in bed reading and crying my eyes out, so I'll be back when I'm done reading it! (I may or may not do some replies, but it's all up in the air)
