Hey! So, I don't know if you're aware of this, but unfortunately Tumblr doesn't allow you to change what your main blog is. When you create an account, your first blog will always be your main blog, and it's only with this one that you'll like posts and send asks to other blogs. The following part confuses me because when I look at the notifications (Activity) for my current blog (@erinelliotc), it shows when I'm following someone or when we're mutuals, but from my research, you can also only follow other blogs with your main blog, so I guess I'm not actually following anyone with my current blog, but rather this first and abandoned one as well .-.
Honestly if I had known this before I started using my current blog, I'd have kept using this first blog as my main one. It's so frustrating and confusing not being able to do basic things like follow other blogs or like posts with the blog I use. This is probably the only thing about Tumblr that I hate and think is an unnecessary and fucking dumb limitation.
Sometimes I wonder if it's worth trying to move all my posts and reblogs here and start using Tumblr here, but boy, I post a lot of stuff. It'd take a lot of time to move it all…
You might say that I can just make a post linking to my old blog, but I'm very methodical and perfectionist and I couldn't rest without having all my posts posted here for the sake of organization and archiving. I also have no interest in creating a new account.
I had to review and organize the tags for all my posts anyway, so maybe I'll do that during this process?
