I suddenly need all of the EriSign in my life. I have yet another OTP to ruin my life.

You reblogged that erisign post, and I had to share what went through my mind. So EriSign! And it's one of those oddly successful relationships! But Karkat (in his romantic excellence) can't tell if it's red or pale! (And obviously Karkat and Eridan aren't quadranted at this point.) And Signless is amused, and Eridan is oblivious, and surprise quadranting!

BRILLIANT.

Also Karkat being kind of intimidated and jealous of Sign because OBVIOUSLY he’s the better Vantas, there’s no way he can compete in any quadrant [insert Karkat’s usual self self depreciation monologues here].  Signless figures it out before Eridan.  He pulls the classic move of asking them both to show up the same place without telling either that the other will be there, and when they show up there’s only them, a table set to two, and a note from Sign that says, “Have fun! ;)”

(Karkat is both grateful and also hate crushing a wee bit at this point.)
