Something we've dreamed of and which came true in this unbelievable way. An amazing prize for our whole team, support, sponsors, and all the people that have been there over the years to help us reach this point. A big THANK YOU to all of you! 🫶

@/ilkkaherola Time for a homecoming post! And this is the best homecoming of my career; heavy on my neck and jingly on my chest 😉

This trip included unbelievably amazing moments, shared happiness, and celebration. With @/eehirvonen we made our dreams come true almost simultaneously!

Because my head feels pretty empty after the competitions, I'll write down some deeper thoughts. And with these thoughts, we'll soon be on the flying hill! 😎

Fortunately, normal life goes on the same way as the previous three times I've come back from the olympics. Do the laundry, what's for dinner, what we need from the store, is the sauna on. 🤷

The years spent with sports have taught me that you don't achieve the most important things abroad. They're always with you regardless of the results.

Gifts find their places, and of course it is nice to enjoy medal coffee with loved ones. They have had their coffee machines ready even without any medals, and we've reviewed even the unpleasant journeys!

For me this trip fulfilled a couple long-term targets, but the most important moments were with other people; shared emotions, history, and events. Medals hide behind them many stories, and it is really difficult to imagine anything better than the story that was written for these medals.

Time is slow when you're waiting, but the journey here doesn't lose its meaning in the shadow of success – it just adds to all the things we've already experienced. Over a decade of living life to the fullest with good company!

And this isn't the finale, this is just one waypoint from which we continue on towards new challenges, fuelled by medal coffee!
