discussing favorite movies at work and I realized that besides pride and prejudice the only movies that really stay with me and take care of me are all lgbt films. so if you ask me what my fave movie is I’ll tell you pride and prejudice. but if i trust you I’ll let you know that esteros changed something in me that I still can’t name, that I can’t think about moonlight without wanting to cry and laugh and miss people I don’t see anymore, that I think about the handmaiden when it’s quiet at night and I’m alone, and instead of masturbating I start to fantasize what life would be like if I had someone in my life willing to sacrifice and cross oceans to save me.
