Calling the visual novel enjoyer nation

For personal reasons of curiosity, I would like to ask as many people as possible why they enjoy playing visual novels. More precisely, I‘d like to know why people enjoy playing dark (romance) novels.

I have my own reasons, after all I‘m playing them myself, but I‘m interested in knowing what other people think.

I’ve heard about tpof and btd, but those are way too brutal for me unfortunately, but I‘m curious about the people who seem to enjoy those games no problem specifically.

@ao3org I'm having an issue with downloading some fics. I've downloaded most fine, but there are two (not the biggest I downloaded), which I can't download.

I always download my fics in epub format, but there are two fics I can't. Downloading in other formats works fine, but epub gets me instant 502 error every single time for 10 minutes now.

Please, help. I want to read those fics 😭😭
