    “ Ya --- got a little something right there.”

       Hand stretched out and soon pointed toward strangers cheek or rather -- closer to jaw line. A smear of something, it seemed. Blood or dark red paint he couldn’t compare, at least not from this distance.

                                 “ Excuse me? ”

       Fingers fidget at the strap of her bag, itching to catch back up         with her traveling group. The clothes she carried with her were         theirs, after all. She needed them to perform. But right now, her         biggest worry was not losing them. 

                                 “ Have you seen a traveling caravan pass by                                     here, by chance? ”

    “Leo, how long does it take to learn to control magic? I know it can’t be easy...”

    Though she had spent a good portion of her life learning the way of the sword from Marx, Kamui had always been intrigued by Leon’s mastery of the elements. Even the most powerful dark magic bent to his will, and as someone who had never so much as attempted such things, she was thoroughly impressed. Her little brother was known for his prodigal skill, so she assumed she shouldn’t feel too discouraged for falling behind, but even the simplest sorcery appeared to be far out of her league.

    “It seems much harder than what Marx teaches me. Not that sword-fighting is easy, but...”
