general opinions: We haven't seen much of him. I can't understand his character in depth and his psychology. He clearly loves his family and that's why refused on helping Erwin. But he is also weak. He couldn't contninue at the Survey Corps, leaving Erwin and Mike back. I believe he still trusts and loves his friends (well friend and dead friend aah) but something holds him back; selfish reasons like money, fame and safety. He is not a born leader like Erwin and so composed like Mike. He cannot handle situations good and he won't in the future (trust me when I say Nile will play a trivial role in the future). I hope he will help Erwin now that he is being help in custody. Also, he may be a little jealous of Erwin and his history with Marie
