Most museums and art galleries today prohibit taking photos/videos of their displays for security purposes and safety of the visitor. But have you ever visited one that encourages you to take photos with the displays?
Look no further, the Philippines’ largest 3D Art Museum is what you are looking for.
Art In Island is an interactive art museum with 2 floors worth of 3D paintings that allow you to take photos with / in them. The entrance fee is Php 500.00 per adult (sorry!! I forgot how much it is for the kids!!). Bring Ids also for discount! They don’t allow footwear inside. You can either buy the socks they sell at the entrance for Php 150.00 or you can go barefooted. To good we were all prepared and brought socks with us! haha :)
The Art in Island has been gathering a lot of attention ever since it open its doors. It boasts its interactive art displays for every man, woman or child, even my lola and lolo enjoyed it! Fun!!
What to bring and not to bring?
Bring yourself and a couple of friends or family (like the saying, the more the merrier)
Camera (a smartphone camera can do with a lot of storage)
Powerbank (you might run out of battery taking photos)
Socks (you are not allowed to be in shoes inside the museum but you can be in socks, there is a Shoe and Baggage Deposit area for your shoes and luggage)
Jacket (the museum is air-conditioned so it can get cold in some areas)

Tip #1: You can skip your meal before going there because yes, there are cafe/ restaurants inside the museum.
Tip #2: While inside the museum, pay attention to the “camera spots” on the floor - that’s where you (or the one taking the photo) need to stand in order to capture the scene.
Tip #3: Be one with the art. Just loosen up and have fun!
