I remember there was a little headcanon that in Soft AU the town near the Cybertronian base was becoming deserted with residents moving out and lots of places closing, so now it's hard to find any job that doesn't involve dealing with transformers
So, may I request Soft AU with a reader who used to be an actor and singer at a local theater but it closed so they had to get a job at the base. A job the hate btw, since they now have to pamper the very people that caused them to lose their dream job (also basically being a janitor has got to be way less fun than what they used to do)
I can imagine a mech catching them singing for other caretakers but then absolutely refusing to sing for him and being super frustrated about it

ES Breakdown x Reader
• Barely catches it, the last wavering notes of your voice singing before it cuts off and his jaw clenches. Because you always stop as soon as you hear him and he’s left wanting. Forcing an easy smile as he rounds the corner and steps into the stall, your expression is sullen hostility as you look up at him. “Sir,” you mutter and he keeps his smile firmly in place. Pretending that it doesn’t bother him that his little songbird will sing for anyone that isn’t him. That you hate him when he’s always had a knack for winning people over.
• “Hey, don’t stop singing on my account,” he says, flashing you that lazy, charming smile that you want so bad to hate. Had lost everything you’d ever wanted because of him and his kind. You’d been happy. Then his people and their war had arrived. After they’d been relocated here, the town had slowly died as people packed up and went somewhere less likely to be the next smoking crater in the ground if these guys decided to start their war back up.
• Don’t you ever smile? Laugh? Clearing his vents as he walks past you, he spreads his arms in the sun. “You’re early,” you mutter, turning away to start mixing his soap. ‘Are you ever happy? Or is this winning, radiant personality just for me?’ He asks and you shoot him a filthy look. Not even a pity laugh or almost smile and it’s become his mission to get you to smile. Not that he really even cares, but he’s not used to anyone outright despising him the way you do.
• How likely are you to get written up again for hosing him in the face? With a pressure washer. Miss your friends, the camaraderie of the crappy, run down theater that had been in town. And sure, the seats were never packed, but they were never completely empty, either. You had an outlet, an escape where you could shrug off the mundane and for a few hours be someone completely different. Live out a life that’s more interesting than yours. Entertain people and make them smile, move them to tears. Make them feel. Now you’re getting paid to scrub some alien’s back and pretend you’re not dying inside a little more every day.
• “Are you ever happy?” He asks, exasperated and you go still, back to him. ‘I was,’ you mumble quietly without looking back at him and he shakes his head, sitting heavily on his bench and watching your movements get rough. Angry. Has no idea what he’s done to you to make himself public enemy number one, but you’ve gotten under his plating. Sometimes dreams about those sullen eyes when he’s recharging and even there in his dreams, you never laugh or smile for him. You’re always distant as the sound of your singing spills distantly through him, so sweet his spark aches with it.
Just when Breakdown thinks his life couldn't get any more.. eventful, he confronts an unfamiliar character with a promising opportunity. Will he be forgiven for taking it? Or will it end up being just another mistake?

This was me just figuring out basic colors n stuff, I did change up a couple things ^^'
I truely believe that kobd are soulmates in every universe but I also like the idea of breakbee having this banter that almost sounds like flirting, like, it's that type of relationship where it is just friendship but it is also obvious that in another world they would have been together
And so I think that in Earthspark kobd aren't together (not yet at least) but everyone thinks they are. And so in a post season 1, there is a moment where Breakdown and Bumblebee are hanging out and half jokingly flirting with each other while Starscream is staring at them from across the hall like "is my best friend being cheated on?!". This unfortunately leads to Star staring daggers at Breakdown the whole week until one day the convesation shifts to talking about dating and Star just goes "so, Breakdown, what did you get Knockout for you first date?" think it's some got ya moment only for Breakdown to look at him confuse and say "what date? KO and I never been on a date."
And every Decepticons in the room just go 👁️👄👁️ "the frag you mean you are not dating? Then what the pitt were you guys doing for the past 4 millions years?"
