After the spy revealed id like to think every time bee subconsciously compares him to op he feels bad an confused about it (accidentally comparing your parental figures that are just what saw in your older friend except one is Satan )

And trying to figure out why he does this means that he must face the fact that he might’ve saw a parental/older family figure in longarm (basically seeing fake speck of good in Satan) and worse he still doing the same thing just with a actually good friend this time but he just can’t stop remembering his time with longarm and how happy he was when he made longarm proud

yeah, its stuff like this that makes it so fun for me to write bee tbh. hes like the perfect protagonist for this kind of stuff HAHAHAHA. its a really complicated thing to write his hatred of shockwave/longarm, and also balancing his yearning with the fact that the friendship he had with him was "real" to a degree, while also being very very aware that shockwave is an evil person.
