The Tale of the Star Princess [Part 1] [Bungo Stray Dogs]
Fandom Series: Bungo Stray Dogs
Summary:
The Soukoku used to be the most formidable and fearsome duo that had annihilate an entire enemy base back in the past, however, the two of the Soukoku pair each have a shared weakness: Their dearest Koyou-aneesan.
Despite Dazai had left the Port Mafia for some time and had joined the ADA, it didn’t mean his respect for Koyou has severed. In fact, if Koyou-aneesan really needed help from him, all she had to do was ask and Dazai would try harder for her than grinding the effort through sorting paperwork in the Agency.
When Koyou need help from the Soukoku to perform in a certain stage play, which apparently according to her, she can only count on them. Chuya and Dazai have to work together to pull it off successfully, and trouble would surely ensue.
But how will the play turn out? What story will the Soukoku bring to the stage?
In Port Mafia..
It only took a few seconds for Chuya to suddenly spit out the red wine without taking a good gulp that will be a good burn down his throat. Unfortunately, for that poor wine and possibly also quite a waste of half of his spent finances on expensive alcohol, it's just not really a good day for him to relax for a drink.
"You want me to WHAT?" Chuya spat between his coughs as he try to regain his composure, and failing quite miserably in front of Koyou, who let out a sigh as she watch the young executive coughing and hacking.
"You're the only one I can ask to--"
"AS IF! Aneesan! You can't be really serious, can you?"
Koyou tilted her head, "And why would I not be serious about this?"
Chuya frown even more, "Why can't you ask Gin--"
"She could but I don't want to expose her without her consent. Besides, she also mentioned she wasn't interested."
Chuya clenched his fists, "Then what about Higu--"
"No can do. She's too serious for this."
Chuya slammed one fist on the counter table, growling in frustration, "BUT I AM NOT A WOMAN. SO WHY ME?"
Koyou sighed, knowing full well it wouldn't be this simple to convince, much less even reason with the (to put it nicely) not-so-tall tempermental junior of hers - but then again she wouldn't have earned her name and rank as one of the executives in the Mafia and one of the strongest senior members of the organization if she, of course, never have a backup plan.
And it was clearly quite evident that Chuya forgot when rebelling against his dearest Aneesan, the simple gesture of her just rummaging through one of the pockets of her elegantly designed kimono is very much - clearly, dreadfully and oh so dangerously a bad sign. No, 'bad' is not even enough to suffice how detrimental his luck could get.
"A-...Anee...Aneesan..." Chuya stammered nervously, the only at least 0.10/100 times he would really lose his poise and have it the hardest to counter response by throwing a tantrum is when he have it the hardest to go against Koyou. And unfortunately so, this is the time.
Koyou smiled with a devillish twinkle in her eye as she purposely made sure the slow pull of the very material that would make him wish he had never put up such a fight to refuse her become more clear when Chuya caught of glimpse of the photo in her hand.
His eyes widen to the point he wish he had just gone blind, right there and then.
"YOU SAID YOU THREW IT AWAY WHEN WE MOVED OUR BASE!"
Koyou's devious smirk is not a good sign, it rang alarm bells for poor Chuya as she finally took the photo out and in its full view, Chuya's face became as white as a puffy white cotton candy when he see the photo of his younger six year old self posed in front of the camera with a shy grumpy pout, dressed in a red yukata, a bunny headband crowned on his head and as though to 'add insult to his pride' back then, his hair styled in cute long braids with little flower petals tucked in strands.
"YOU-- YOU!! ANEESAN!!" Chuya screamed in both agony and embarassment, he didn't even realize it as his wine glass shattered in his hand.
Koyou let out a triumphantly devious cackle, "Oh my darling Chuya. You should've at least be more careful to go against your big sister! So now, will you do it? Or else..." Her grin widen behind the kimono sleeve, "This would make quite a cute addition to the 'Port Mafia's Chart of Organization' board at the lobby, hmmmmm?"
Chuya grit his teeth so hard, he could only wish death by embarassment could be a valid 'reason of death'. He knew there and then, as it is absolute certainty he can't go against the lady demon he still have high respect for, he would definitely....
Need another bottle of expensive wine.
