▐ CALL THE DOCTOR — SUJI & SIHHA
` The sun is still high above the slow-paced clouds, yet Suji is sure she has rubbed both of her eyes in circular movements for the tenth time. Admittedly enough, the clinic she's presently working at had (beyond from normal of) a busy day, where most of the cases involved upset stomachs or food poisoning. Thankfully, she was given a break by Doc after telling a patient instructions of when and how to take his medicine. Rare occurrence, really. It's going to be one of those days, she thinks to herself.
` Then a knock on the door of her office so light, Suji would not have heard it if she weren't sitting next to the cabinet files near the door. "Come in." That new nurse she's now well familiar with enters, and she doesn't miss her apologetic smile while passing a handful of patient files over to Suji. "Doc wants you to handle these few patients. His hands are tied right now with a surgery." Suji nods her head slowly, but her eyes gleam with understanding. She should have known it was too good to be true. Every staff was needed, after all. Then she realizes her mistake and immediately brightens up her face with a professional smile. "Alright, thank you for letting me know!"
` The young physician assistant takes the files and proceeds to follow the nurse out of the office. Suji sits herself behind the only desk in the next room, situated in front of a salmon-colored therapy bed. She opens the file on top after giving a smile and nod to the nurse to bring the patient in. This person only wants a check-up, so he's out the door within minutes, followed by her recording of his vital signs. The next one has a fractured knee with a deep cut, so Suji immediately bends and envelops her hands in water, slowly breathes in, and heals the cut with the bright-colored water. She ushers the patient to the nurse to take care of the rest after informing her of his condition. After two more, Suji is on her fourteenth eye rub. No more patients at the moment, thank the heavens.
` Soon after she's updating the last patient's file, though, she hears someone enter abruptly. She looks up from the papers after recognizing the nurse's voice from earlier. "There's someone who is persistent in wanting to see you now, is that alright?" Suji tilts her head to the side a little, racking her mind of who it could be.
As long as I'm needed.
"Yeah, why not. I mean, yes, that's fine."
