Did you ever sell a guitar only to immediately wish you hadn't?

That's what happened with this 2009 Gibson Custom ES-339. It's a joy to play - one of those rare guitars that is just perfect in every way right out of the box.

I sold it back when I went through my "I only buy vintage" phase, a dark period when I sold so many excellent modern guitars to finance more expensive (but mediocre) vintage ones! 😉

Took me 8 years to convince my pal to sell it back to me...but it's back!

2013 lol . 7 year later and there are only two guitars in this picture that I still own: the TV Special LP (left, on stand) and the 1961 #LesPaul #SGJunior (back right, upside down) . The black #LesPaulSpecial double cut (center) went to @ginger_cam80. . The 1968 #SGSpecial went to @whelanseanwhelan, and then in turn to @marcus_addam_w. . The sunbrst #ES339 went to @the_damo_experience. .
