A boy's first V. . Throwback 8 years to the first #FlyingV I ever owned, a 2005 "Faded" Cherry with #StewMac Golden Age Parsons Street #Humbuckers. I got this #guitar ridiculously cheap as a partial trade, and had very low expectations because growing up I had always had a thing against Flying Vs (but I was getting bored with owning 11 Strats and 5 Teles, so I thought I'd try something different!). But man did my mind ever change quickly once I sat down* and played it. I have loved Vs ever since! . *using a strap of course! Everyone knows you can't play a V sitting down! Rewired a tele Saturday. Original P/Us in it we’re older Fender Custom shops. Changed the jack, pots, switch and cap. Sounds amazing now. I cleaned enough nicotine off this thing to give me a headrush.
