Escanor is the god of sun, Merlin the goddess of the moon, they are doomed to be forever apart except for rare moments, the eclipses, when they finally can reach the other and be as one

Every one who submits four or more entries gets to request one of our mods! This means either a free sketch by either @bertazsleepyhead or @lionsheartart or free gifs (max. 10) by @nostalgicbookworm. Featured above are examples of some of the works our mods have created in the past. If you want to see more of what our mods are capable of, you may visit their respective blogs as they are filled with content~

The mod and content of your request is entirely up to your choice! Please note that this is limited to one request by one mod per participant. Each mod also has their own comfort zone and may refuse if your request is outside of it. However, you're always free to request something else or ask another mod! :)

There's only a bit over 3 weeks left till Escalinweek starts. We're looking forward to all of your works (and creating ones in return ;3)

Escalin Week Day 7: AU/Free

So, ever since @bertazsleepyhead introduced us to her Escalin twins I haven't been able to get the idea out of my head (I'm not as great as her, but I hope I did it justice💖)

And of course these are dedicated to her because today's her birthday!!! SO, happy birthday to one the most wonderful people I've ever met, you are such a kind human being and I am so grateful to have met you and to be able to call you my friend ^^

There is nothing for him to do now but remember, and he does: they had been crafted by Fate in the Eternal Halls to mark the passing of time and the seasons. To him was given day, and Summer, and the chariot that draws him across the sky. He is light and life and fire made flesh, his power shown in the brawn of his body. She was gifted night, and Winter, and the cool depths of the water within which to pull the tide. She is darkness, and death, and eternal rest, slender and lovely. Wisdom had drawn their paths in the heavens and, before they had departed, Hope had filled them with love, so that they would pursue each other endlessly. And it was Hope who altered their course just enough so that, once every few centuries, they would collide.

He is drawn from his musings by a breeze that makes the candle flames dance, the near-silent footfalls that pad slowly along the marble floor. He closes his eyes, breathing in the scents of honeysuckle and jasmine that he craves, listening to the quiet rasp of her clothing. Then Escanor opens his eyes, drinking in the sight of her greedily. She is dressed, as always, in flowing robes of white silk, her feet left bare, and the moonflower tucked behind her ear nearly glows against the dark waves of her hair. Merlin smiles at him as she takes her own seat, and it is a blessing he would burn the world for, a gift that he chases as he draws his chariot through the skies.
