9. Favorite pairing you wrote for this year? I'd love to say it's my initial favourite of Marco/Law and I have been reading a great fanfic about them, but my writing for them was also drabbles/ficlets, and not so well developed, so I'll say LawZo, although that's a WIP and will be in the LawZo zine out next year. I had fun writing the (very) irregular limerick for LawBin for the polls this year, AND there is KidLaw in the works, AND, I tightened it this year, but didn't write it this year, but reuploaded a chapter to an AceLaw fic

Guess my answer is all of them. Also, plenty of platonic Trafalgar Law & the Heart Pirates. One Cora & Law fic for the Corazine too.

19. What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?

Maybe get some LawBin on paper. I've written it romantically a few times, but more often platonically, but usually in longfic. Wouldn't mind getting a one shot or two out.

29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year? My current fave is in a WIP for the LawZo zine, so I can't share it for a while, so take the following from Bioluminescent Hearts. Not amazing, but I quite like the imagery. Spoilers for chapter 1081 (manga spoilers)

Orange and white striped tentacles rippled past Hakugan—the head of a sea anemone flexing its bright body backwards and forwards through the water. There was so much water, and the pressure. He couldn’t tell if he was cold, if he was uncomfortable. He tried to shake the vegetation from his hands, but to even budge a finger took effort.

What we need is a surprise!Jenna cameo so that, even if it's a hallucination/TARDIS voice interface/whatever, the first thing Twelve sees post-getting his eyesight back for realisies is Clara.

Also 12 hallucinating Clara just makes sense, that’s basically what he did in Heaven Sent. :P

Ah?!? None? I'm way behind on everything meme-wise etc. I dunno if those art memes qualify, though? I have fun looking at the Barbie and Ken memes from the Barbie movie when they've both been arrested, and Ken is cheery and Barbie is not, and the artists using One Piece characters usually get a laugh from me.

🍦 ⇢ name three good things about a character you hate Ooh, let's go with Doflamingo: 1. He's got the chutzpah, the rizz, the ego wider than the whole rapidly sinking world 2. Dress sense. It's wild, it's crazy, it's garish, he's got bedouin curled slippers. Law got all his dress sense from the two Donquixote brothers, but with a modicum (a touch!) more style. 3. Numancia Flamingo: The Mama Chanter and Numancia Flamingo are the best, most garish, good fun battleships out there.

🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction? 

🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction?  I was looking for some spicy writing and came across Dr Cycance's Worth, and then I was hooked to the characters (after a few hiccups). But when I sought out other fanfiction generally, I found that many stories didn't really reflect my understanding or experience of friends in same-sex relationships. I wanted to write more respectful and equitable relationships (but also wrote plenty of dark fics, but the hurt and comfort [as opposed to my hurt no comfort fics] did have those elements, I thought]). Also, there were some fics I got hooked into, and there was an extended time between some important updates. I had to feed my itch, or ease my anxiety? during the wait, and I wrote my own (not for publication) next chapters, which eased that itch and lessened that anxiety (for the character that was left in a cliff-hanger). I expanded into more regular fan-fiction writing from there. I've always written stories, by the way, but I came to fan-fiction a lot later than others.

🍄 ⇢ share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings

I don't think I have any new ones from what I've said before. I guess, if I consider LawZoLaw, I don't view them as aggressively competitive towards each other, as in, I don't think they have a need to dominate one another. I often see their relationship represented this way, and, fair enough, they're young and both want to be the best, so I'm sure that underpins their personalities. But I like to see them as generally vibing with one another and getting along due to similarities rather than differences. Probably makes for boring reading, but those kinds of slices of life are my fave. (I'm all there for the humour and banter, though, and I don't think that they're not without competition, I just don't think they're arses about it [to each other, in a serious way]).
