im curious what your process is like in terms of planning the coffee house diaries? since it's something that you have put so much time and thought into, i was just wondering if you wrote an outline or rough drafts for each part that you are going to put out?

so i first put this out in december of 2020 as like a christmas/new year surprise so its been quite a while and i havent finished it yet🤡

how i planned it: i just knew i wanted to make a series where it was connected. not something where the series is the plot of the entire thing (like lost cities which is another work im going to continue later). but i just wanted to make one where all the members were in one universe.

with that idea, i obviously needed to have a theme or au universe. so the basic one i knew was university au, but i wasnt sure how i would just tie it around that because then it would get repetitive, so i added the cafe au in there.

the names were just coffee orders that i googled lol. and for the title ‘the coffee house diaries’ my friend and i both brainstormed ideas til we ended up with what it is.

as for the plots, i started with wooyoungs. i didnt even have a clue what i wanted to do with the others. but then once i finished it, and i had a little break in between with other projects, i found motivation and made a whole outline that lists the basic ideas of what i wanted to happen for the other stories.

once that was down, i kinda of just went from there. but i have to redo hongjoongs because it was deleted💔 curse you google. but yeah, that was the thought process lol.

hiiii !!! i came to drop by and say that your ateez coffee house diaries series is pretty much my favorite thing on the internet right now. i’ve been in the middle of moving into a new house but craving fanfic while i’m too busy to read it and this smau came to me like an angel when i needed it most!! i may or may not have accidentally binge read the whole entire series in the span of one day by taking every spare moment i wasn’t lugging around heavy boxes to read. and boy was it worth it maybe i stayed up too late finishing it bUT YEAH LIKE I SAID. WORTH IT !!! i seriously just enjoyed each story so so much, i’ve legit never enjoyed an smau this much, normally i don’t love them bc they get too dramatic in a way i don’t like bUT YOURS ARE LEGIT PERFECT IN EVERY WAY SHAPE AND FORM !!! idk how you express emotions and characters so well through this format but you do😭 and i just finished the latest chapter for the yeosang one and eEEE it was so cute, i came just in time to be here as you’re putting out my bias’s story :))) fIGHTING GO YOU YOURE AMAZING !!

i literally have no words😭😭 i want to express my thankfulness and appreciation towards those who read and react to this series, but i feel that a simple ‘thank you’ isnt enough. i want to do more to show my appreciation, but life fr be getting in the way.

im so happy that this series has made you smile as much as the reactions i receive make me smile. i deeply appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to write this up and send it to me. it really made my hectic day brighter.

i put a lot of thought into this series; its my precious baby. and i hope you stay till the end for the final two after yeosang.

1- like my hands. idk i dont have a reason for it, i just like them lol

2 - i like my hair because its very healthy and its really thick. and it rarely gets tangled and i dont even have to brush it sometimes (i still do its just those moments)

3 - i like my height. i wouldn’t want to be taller than i am right now (im only 5’3) and i wouldn’t mind being shorter, i just think 5’3 is a good height.

4 - idk if im supposed to say physical things about me so this one will just be me liking the art i make. i mean, im not good at it but it relaxes me and helps me cam down.

5 - uhhhhhhh i guess i like my smile. though sometimes i kinda feel like my smile feels forced whenever im smiling for too long. like for pictures or smth, not in general lol.
