Sure am! I apologize in advance if I list stuff you already know. That being said, since only 1 out of the 8 Starry Sky games has an English patch, I’m going to gamble on that 7/8 chance and guess you can read Japanese?
If so, try Hinano’s Special: Otome Game Recommendations! She sorts a number of Japanese otoge by category, definitely a simple and solid place to start. There’s some overlap between the Student/Teacher section and other sections, but overall the divisions are distinct. Her blog also includes a shopping guide and she’s responsive to comments (just read the FAQ before asking questions), a bonus if you need help!
If not, have some very loosely summarized English otoge recs! They’re better than I make them sound by about ∞.
Nameless ~the one thing you must recall~ - figurine-flirting. there’s school but broadly speaking it’s not a game about school. fun female friendships.
Area-X - be a time lord. I’ve read mixed reviews about the system, but the story, art, and characters are layered.
most Voltage games (ios + android). fandom favourites include what I like to call the what 10 commandments? games: Kiss of Revenge, In Your Arms Tonight, and Love Letter From Thief X, summarized as killing, cheating, and stealing respectively.
