M.I.M.E
Whew! We, the SELAMS Moving Hands performed at the Librada Avelino Auditorium on March 9, 2009. We were the last performer on the event called "University Recognition Day 2009". Sabi ni Kuya Edward, much-anticipated ang performance namin tska SELAMS MOVING HANDS lang ang may puso! Hahahaha!! Tama naman si Kuya Edward. So we practiced our moves from Saturday and Monday morning.. Last Saturday, we practiced until 8:15 (i guess) in the evening. Monday, we practiced at the Librada Avelino Auditorium since the program isn't starting yet. It's a good thing because of teamwork, cooperation, camaraderie and prayers, our performance went well. The president of Centro Escolar University, Dr. Cristina Padolina, the Dean of our college (SELAMS), Dr. Paz Lucido, and the deans of the 8 colleges, along with the awardees and students watched us as we showed, proved and stand out that SELAMS Moving Hands is the best performers of all colleges. While we were having our performance, many students cheered for their colleges as we spell by the use of our hands the name of their colleges. I didn't regret joining the SELAMS Moving Hands. I enjoyed their company, and shared laughter with them. I enjoyed being with my fellow SELAMS students. I will join the SELAMS Moving Hands again next school year. :D

A memorable semester..
So what exactly happened to me during the second semester? Waking up at 4 in the morning, leaving our house at 5:10 am, I was also confused because the Antipolo-Cubao jeepneys have different terminals..damn those jeepneys, hahaha sometimes, nasa biyaheng langit ka na sa sobrang bilis!! I was also rushing at the LRT station between 6:10 to 6:14 am...walking to the narrow sidewalk of Legarda St., walking as fast as I could to catch my first class..most especially during MWFs..attend my Saturday class which consist of only 2 subjects!! I answered dreadful exams, quizzes and write a 20 page summary, of 3 looong chapters, report in front of a class wherein I was "criticized" because of my wrong pronounciation to Jean Piaget's surname. Ho-hum. XD Of course I met a lot of people. New friends. New classmates. Different people. Different nationalities. From different colleges. One school. Second semester may be somehow short..from November to March. Time flies so fast. I still remember the first day of my college life. Boohoo, I WAS SUCH A LONER! hahahaha I felt so grateful, at the same time, happy. Happy, that I was able to meet many new friends. I learned so many things base from my experiences, from the stories of my upperclassmen, and also from my professor. I distinctly remember my former English professor..he said that "MEDIOCRITY is a FAILURE"...and he was right..absolutely right. he said "You shouldn't be contented of what you earned, of what you gained, you should DO YOUR BEST, your 101% best, and always remember to put GOD FIRST in everything that you do". Because of his empowering and encouraging words, I did my best in my studies and in every task I am appointed in. I also met many foreign peers...who came from Iran, China, South Korea and such. I was also able to go to some places in Manila..like St. Scholastica's College, the busy-buzzy streets of Arlegui Street (for the second time around!), SM Manila; which is my tambayan whenever I feel like shopping for stuffs, PETA Theater in Quezon City, SM San Lazaro near UST (my UST-graduate friend called it as SM UST, hahaha), of course, how can I forgot the "memorable tambay" on FEU-EAC Building?! and also some places which I cannot remember. Since I didn't have a chance to experience a prom, when I was in high school I was able to attend a somewhat, likely..uhh..yeah..the SELAMS night..and also I joined the SELAMS Moving Hands..although I was just a short time, I learned lots of things from the SMH Family. :D Hmm..I will really miss my first classmates..my first ever college classmates and friends. I am looking forward on meeting and seeing them again, and also I want them to to be my classmates again. Speaking of classmate..I am also hoping my Iranian crush will be my classmate again in some other subjects such as English class or P.E class..hahahaha!! Since this is only the beginning of college life, I am looking forward to a much exciting and memorable school year 209-2010. Adieu~
