"I am scared. i need your help, please " she mumbled. A uneasy feeling crept into her heart making her hands shaking and feets cold.

"Help with what, exactly? Based on that look you're giving me, I can only assume it's something important... Perhaps even dreadful. Whatever it is you're scared of, I can protect you for the time being. Don't underestimate a Vampire's strength," he said sternly, sighing. "On one condition, of course. Surely you don't demand my help without me expecting some kind of recompense."

Reaching for her hand, Ruki swiftly separated it from her chest and gazed directly into her eyes after tilting her chin upward.

"In order to protect you, I'm going to have to slake my thirst with your blood."
