YES!!! ive been wantin to scream n yell about them ever since i finished pacifist ending (i mean hecke i was already literally making weird loud noises when you first find out a’s feelings!!!), but Oh My G OD!!! they are both just so great and make for a super cute Odd Couple pairing and i want to cry!!!

hm ok so while in isolation, is there something that they called themselves? or did they just live with not knowing theirself/their name. also is there a difference between waking and dreaming(?) woodsman?

yes, they do have a given name! (i’ve never really gotten to it because it’s not important) it doesn’t really come up in use often (they have an uncle who visits sometimes?), and the traders tend to refer to others w/ polite, impersonal titles.

TROPEY AS IT IS dreaming woodsman is really only an amnesiac woodsman. by the end of the dream, you might argue that the emerging personality has become maybe a little more undone, more honest than the original.

woodsman doesnt remember their name! red gave it to them for conversational sake, but also it isn’t extremely important to (the waking) woodsman bc they’ve lived pretty long in isolation.

yeah and the problem is i don’t even hate greg or think their relationship is terrible or anything! but it’s just the really harmful and unfortunate implications of juxtaposing those two relationships back to back, it just...makes everything feel so bittersweet and conflicting...

maybe like getting a weighted blanket or one of those like heaty things filled with beans???? and that would solve the hand problem maybe????

i’ve been thinkin about getting a weighted blanket to try actually? O: i’ve never had one but it sounds like somethin i could do with maybe?

also i have one of those heaty things and i love them but the one i have doesnt really have much weight to it :(
