I’m so glad I got to get Cody out this afternoon and knock the rust (and bucks 🙄) off in the sandbox... not the best tests we’ve ever done, but it was our first time running through the new Prelim B and our first ever attempt at Intermediate A. Overall, I’m pleased with how we both did, and I got some really great feedback, homework, and show-ring tips from Ryan Bell. Just gotta keep getting out and working in show-like environments because we have those consistent low 20s tests in us 😁 Even though we weren’t at our best in the show ring, Codes got compliments on his warmblood-like movement... the best compliment I can receive from dressage riders when we have been working very hard on getting an uphill tendency with impulsion out of my little TB ❤️❤️❤️ Oh and we looked crazy sharp in Cody’s Eskadron ice blue set and my @smartpak seafoam full seat Pipers with a conservative black EIS shirt. #showoff #ottb #thoroughbredsofinstagram #ottbsofinstagram #dressagethoroughbred #fancyprancyprincess #firsttestinthedoublebridle #eskadroniceblue #spartpakpipers (at Ashland Farm)
