I think we are ready for Aiken next weekend 😂 Cody was feeling feeling amazing in our pre-show tuneup with J Michael. And he almost jumped me out of the saddle a couple times today he’s feeling so good. I’ve been so inactive for so long but I promise I’m back 😭 went through a lot lately but all is well again. ANYWAYS. here’s an updated face pic of this guy. 4 has never looked better

Meet Nick. He is an off track thoroughbred and his Jockey Club name is Nicodemus. Back in his racing days, his owner went broke and decided to abandon him in an old, abandoned racetrack. When I got him he was underweight and withdrawn. After a lot of work and bonding (and discovering his love of Twizzlers) he came out of his shell. 5 years later, he runs to me in the pasture and is the first head out of his stall when someone enters the barn. Nick has pushed me to become a more confident and calm person and taught me so much about myself.

Well, the good news is, our saddle fits both of us GREAT! In other news, the Senior Citizen was feeling mighty spry today. So much so that she decided to show me just how young she felt by popping a wheelie with me😐 she was full of piss and vinegar today.
