She needed to see her. Nora knew that Esme said she was alright, but Nora has also been saying that for the past two days and she was very much not alright. And she wouldn't be until she knew for sure. The pain may have faded, but as she casts the teleportation spell to bring herself to Connor's apartment, it flairs to life, blinding her with that pain all over again. But once it fades into an annoyance once again, she knocks on his door. Nora barely waits for it to open all the way before pushing Connor to the side and running in. "Esme?"
And there she was. The same beautiful fae she has come to know and love in her time in the Midnight Underground. She was here. She was safe. All walls that Nora had crafted around herself over the past two days crumbled, tears spilling from her eyes as she ran to Esme's side and pulling her into a hug. Her grip on her clothes were tight, but she didn't care. She was here. She was safe. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry," she muttered into her shoulder.
