In ESO, you can talk to yourself!
😂 I've been around since Beta and never tried this??
On a whim I googled if there's any way to keep chat messages to yourself while out in the world near others, but wasn't getting any relevant results. So I tried it myself!
The command is: /w \@YourUsername (but without \ before @. FR Tumblr has no way to input code or non-linking plaintext in the year of our lord 2026? T_T)
Reasons it's useful:
Sometimes I want to check the info / mats / craft cost of an item without broadcasting the item to the entire bank or town square.
Or screenshot something and write a note-to-self about it
