Let’s photosynthesize with mama
Using this trend as an opportunity to make some new esoteric tangibility environmental lore
Wyrms photosynthesize to obtain food since their bodies grow too big to sustain with meat or plants. Wyrms can disgust plants and meat, but it isn’t required. Wyrms usually live around 300-350 years, as at that point, their bodies are generally too big to sustain. However, in some exceptionally sunny areas, some wyrms have been known to live 500 years or more. The oldest discovered wyrm lived in the prehistoric ages, estimated to have lived close to 800 years, and had grown more than 2 miles long. It is theorized this was due to the surplus of oxygen as well as the moon being closer to the earth, therefore reflecting more sunlight at night.
Female wyrms usually only have one child in their lifetime, which they raise for 14 years until it reaches adulthood. Wyrms usually start breeding at around 23 years old. Male wyrms are generally more aggressive and territorial, so females raise their young on their own.
