Richard's guitar in the Hard Rock Café Berlin
Today, I stopped by the Hard Rock Café in Berlin to take a break from exploring the city and who would've thought - there was a free table under this beauty 🎸
This appears to be, based on what I’ve found, a guitar model by ESP—specifically the ESP KH-4 Black / MIRROR Pickguard stage edition. It likely belongs to the ESP KH-4 Signature Series, which ESP released in collaboration with Metallica’s guitarist Kirk Hammett, as the initials already suggest.
The black guitar is adorned with a mirror pickguard that fits the body shape, as well as small silver skull inlays on the fretboard as fret markers:
I find Richard’s choice particularly charming: "To Hard Rock! Rammstein! RZK" and a little "YeaH" added to it, which adds a bit of whimsical, random charm 😊
This guitar was apparently used especially during the Sehnsucht era, both in the production of the album and during concerts. It seems to be the same or at least the same model (in case of the Mutter era) as the one pictured here:

Sounds a bit cheesy, yet this was a little highlight for me to be able to inspect it so closely today 😌
