okay to release my brainworms into the world:
not to make everything about david and marc but to fully understand their dynamic in my eyes is understanding they are apart of that cycle. pol and dani are the onlookers, they are two riders that are hella talented but always overshadowed by an alien or babygoat. pol for me sees dani like aleix saw pol. "my brother is better than me; so to see marc constantly beating him sucked" smthn like that with the aspar boys. and pol looking at dani when david got his first win and was like, "oh." if u've seen the aspar vlogs he literally calls dani, "the best rider in the world" in the vlog where david gets his first win (before the either boys wins i'd like to add.) to add on similaritys is pol joining honda when it was all about marc is so similar to dani joining aspar. aspar and honda has basically the raised teams raised marc and david kids and now there's a foreigner. (even tho dani was apart of aspar before in junior categories)
to back away from the david and marc shit, they are just strangely close LMAO. like okay why are u hanging out literally EVERYWHERE with a 34 year old man dani. dani is also hanging out with foggia a shit ton which i could also spend a whole lot talking about. BUT ANWAY the uniting force at the end of the day is probably KTM, maybe im just rpf crazy...
ps: the struggle of liking a dynamic/ship/even riders individually that are unpopular is a circle of hell so thank u for letting me word vomit i hope i didnt scare u LMAO
Firstly, that is literally so perfect like I get that so so much, the constant being overshadowed by the others. Dani is probably magically drawn to Pol, the one person who cares about him without caring about David, the one person who actually sees him for who he is and not just "the other aspar". Like Pol cares about him, Pol knows him, and Pol is there for him. He actively seeks out Dani and isn't just around him because David isn't available right now. (I'm also fully convinced Dani Holgado has a praise kink and I know Pol knows how to fuel that.) I do wonder how they found to eachother lol.
Secondly: tell me about it, I only really support unpopular riders, it is horror lmao so I am very happy when anybody talks to me about them hehe
