came here to remind everyone that chad and patrick were not married. chad constantly refers to patrick as his boyfriend, not husband. and common law is not a valid argument either. yes they lived together for over two years, so in some cases yes, they could be common law. however, the state of california does not recognize common law. they are not married and never were. absolutely feel free to have your muse think they are/were, that doesn't bother me. i am just a lil annoyed how many times i see patrick being referred to as his husband by the fandom.
