Esprit Dior

This July I visited South Korea for two weeks where I traveled all over the country. It was a fantastic experience but one point of the trip that stood out to me was the Esprit Dior collection which is located at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Dongdaedumn is a district in Seoul known for the fashion and whole sale prices of clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. I took great advantage of this as I purchased lots of the merchandise that were on sale here. This district is also home to a new art museum which contains a number of fabulous exhibitions. 

Esprit Dior was on the the exhibitions on display at the time of my visit and it was by far the most beautiful and mesmerizing show I have ever seen. The exhibition housed Dior’s Couture dresses from his 1947 New Look all the way up to the 2015 Fall Winter line. Dior is one of may favorite designers of all time, and he has been a huge inspiration to me. Never had I been so close to such revolutionary clothes. The famous “Bar” suit and jacket was unbelievable to see in person along Jennifer Lawrence’s cream dress that she wore to the 2013 Oscars.
