How I love those beautiful sunny days. Today before I started my private sessions I stopped to overlook this gorgeous view. And it really hit me how I never spend time on a sun-bed, enjoying a fresh swim in the pool, stepping on the green grass with my bare feet or lying on a pool towel reading a book. Pretty ironic when you live in a sunny country, right? However, there isn't much time to "holiday around" during my work week. I teach daily, weekends too and I love it. When we love what we do we don't really need to go on holidays all the time to escape our life. Work doesn't feel heavy or a burden. Monday's aren't miserable. Saying that, life isn't easy as a full time yoga teacher and nutritionist. Far from. You choose this job because you love it. It's not a little hobby on the side for me. I have bills to pay and no rich daddy or uncle or husband who supports my ass so I can hang around in a palm tree striking another Yoga pose in a mini bikini to impress my audience. This is real life. Work. Like any other work. I love because it makes others feel better, and I get a chance to connect with fantastic people. I like to bring Yoga down to earth. To where it really belongs. In the heart and soul. Not in the superficial world with half naked yoga teachers dressed in mini shorts and tight bras showing their naked skin. That's not reality. Well, for me it isn't. Reality is waking up every day, being grateful and feeling great inside out. It doesn't matter what we do. It doesn't matter what job we have or don't have. It doesn't matter if we are loaded with lots of money or not. At the end of the day, our health and well-being matters the most. Our inside happiness is what makes life meaningful. Meanwhile, I'll take another look at the stunning scenery around me, bow my head to the great universe and thanking life for what I have, although it's small and simple.
