For a full day, I was an Elf! And I saved Celebrimbor’s ghosty ass!
Essaë was a herborist from Rivendell, lover of all plants and animals. After the War of the Ring, she rode to Minas Tirith with her Lord Elrond, lady Arwen and their suite. As they crossed Isengard, she felt revolted by what the White Wizard had inflicted to his lands and a shadow darkened her heart with anger and distrust. When she discovered two seeds in the ruins, one as bright as silver and the other as radiant as gold, she knew she would not gift them to anyone.
After the marriage of lady Arwen with the King Elessar, she followed her lord to what was left of Ost-in-Edhil, where a great banquet of reconciliation between the peoples of Middle-Earth was to be held. There, Elrond left her and three other loyal followers in charge of supervising the course of that diplomatic summit of great importance, where the future of Middle-Earth was to be decided by those who would inhabit it during the Fourth Age.
But strange things were about to happen there... The ghosts of those who fell centuries ago had been restless, the guardian of Ost-in-Edhil seemed sick, and cursed rings had been popping everywhere, luring naive Mortals into picking them up and distracting them from the negociations... and the eventual traitors among them.
Fortunately I was not alone to solve this mystery while deciding of the future of Rivendell (yeah because Elrond entrusted me with this task too 8DD)!
From left to right, my fellow Elves companions:
the dashing Ivarë, son of Cirdan and legendary minstrel (whose charm is getting him in troubles!),
my “little” brother Eärgon, whose brain is as smart as his carpenter hands are nimble,
me as Essaë,
Niriel, guardian of Ost-in-Edhil (aka the drama queen who has stolen my brother’s heart! grrr)
We had so much fun ! ♥
