"The Sunnyridge 3" is slated for a 2027 release on Disney Channel and Disney+ according to Orion Ross (Disney Television Animation VP of International Animation).

Ross revealed it during The Walt Disney Company's BBQ Party at Annecy Film Festival, 2026.

"The Sunnyridge 3" follows follows a trio of life-long best friends investigating the strange goings-on in a uniquely bizarre shopping centre on the fringes of suburban London. Rose, Jeru and Wayne practically grew up at the Sunnyridge Mall, but this summer, the weirdness has gone to a whole new level. In this unpredictable genre-bending mashup, the trio will discover that the truth is always stranger than fiction.

The series is created by Stevie Gee and Essy May trought Blink Industries and Boat Rock Media in association with Disney Television Animation.

Disney Europe Animation Greenlights “The Sunnyridge 3” At Annecy Film Festival

At the Annecy Animation International Film Festival, Disney revealed details and a first look on a brand new animated series for Disney+ called “The Sunnyridge 3”, which is been created by Stevie Gee and Essy May. 

“The Sunnyridge 3,” follows trio of lifelong best friends investigate strange goings-on in a uniquely bizarre shopping center on the fringes of suburban London. Rose, Jeru and Wayne practically grew upat the Sunnyridge Mall, but this summer, the weirdness has gone to a whole new level. With their imaginations running wild, they will chase down any conspiracy theory no matter where it leads.

Could it be werewolves, hauntings or an ancient curse? Robots, aliens or renegade AI? The trio will discover that the truth is always stranger than fiction in this unpredictable genre-bending mashup created by British team Stevie Gee and Essie May.

Multiple award-winning U.K. animation studio Blink Industries (Netflix Animation’s “Dead End: Paranormal Park,” Netflix “Love, Death & Robots”) produces, in association with multiple award-winning global entertainment company Boat Rocker (“Dino Ranch,” “Love Monster”).
