Being trapped within a magical sphere can be tough sometimes, there are many things that you just can't grow or create. Medicines & medical supplies, engineering materials, tools, the list goes on. Fortunately for the household one individual has the ability to leave the sphere without consequence, that individual being Frollo, who takes what all extra the house has to offer to the local trading market just outside the forest border. A place where those with no money can trade whatever they have for whatever they need, what all you might be looking for the market pulls together to provide. This slice of heaven is also home to some of Frollo's closest comrades outside the sphere, David & Ester Finch, who's family throughout the 527 years of knowing Claude has provided for him more than any other. If he's looking for something specific, David gladly takes personal orders from him regardless of if it's food or something else, if there's information he needs, Ester keeps him up to date on all who come & go there, & what all changes. Like them getting a new employee.

Not only do they go out of their way for Frollo in regard to trading, but they also provide a safe place for him to be, well, Frollo. Unsurprisingly, people still hate Frollo on the outside regardless of how much time has passed. He has to take extreme precautions as to not be seen for he can only imagine what would become of him if he were discovered. And knowing that Frollo is his family's only source to the outside world, David & Ester do all that they can to keep his existence a secret, even to the nosiest of market owners. (Cosmo: I know it's been a LONG time since I've posted anything about the au that I have so here's SOMETHING to share with you, if you stars have follow up questions feel free to ask in the comments, I'm not entirely sure if or when I'll be opening the ask box again so we'll just have to be patient. Hello,

I have seen numerous interactions in this fandom that seem genuinely lovely and after watching from afar for quite some time now I would love to interact with you myself.

Quick introduction, my name is Lucas and I’m a big fan of Dead Boy Detectives. I’ve loved the comics for years and was even more enamoured when we got our first live action debut of Charles and Edwin in Doom Patrol.

As you can imagine I was over the moon when I found out the boys would be getting their very own show. And was then heartbroken when they cancelled it. But this amazing fandom has been doing such brilliant work of keeping this show alive and I’m incredibly thankful that it hasn’t slowed down in the slightest.

So, for all of you out there who have taken the time to read this little post thank you for staying, and I would like to invite those of you who would like to chat about this lovely show and lovely characters to feel free to drop me a message. I love when we make Monty's last name Finch cause of Ester. He's a crow, and yet his name is Finch. Like, can you imagine he tells someone he's a bird and they expect a cute little finch singing its little tweety sounds and then they get a big ol' omen of death cawing at them sassily ominously?
