I keep looking at this and can't stop thinking that:
Kyouji wasn't trying to jump in the river just because of some fucking coins, but he was just trying to runaway from this awkward situation.
Like we know he'll go along with Satomi saying he wants to end everything and to never see him again without a word even if he (so obviously) doesn't want to; But also having to accept money from him is so weird and awkward especially for someone like Kyouji who's scared to won't even accept a hug from Satomi.
Every time I look at his face all I see is: "I rather jump in the river than keep this conversation."
Also he probably knew that this meeting could be their last time and he's suicidal af so him thinking "better now than never" is kinda hilarious to me.
