I'm going to combine these! Esther never fully regained any of xir memories, but sometimes a few will appear as dreams. Xe had a few about old friends and family- xe can never remember what they look like when xe wakes up. Sometimes they're about what xe did during xir time in the military- recon, meetings, murder, random missions. Other times they're about the metro. Those are the nights xe spends in Bee's bedroom, crying into their shoulder as xir back stings horribly. Bee's a big source of comfort because they know what xe went through.
