[text] Just let me suck your dick and be happy. Let me have this. - Evelyn (sorry not sorry, she’s ready for Sin today)
[txt] Eve I am in a meeting.[txt] I should be home soon anyway
The Lion’s Den
Maker was she glad to be back here. It wasn't home, no, she hadn't had that in a very long time. Rebekkah had her traveller's bag with her at all times. She had learned to expect the unexpected--her life had taught her that much. It was why she was dealing with what she was. Currently her hand was glowing, throug it dulled if only a little bit because of the glove she used to cover it. The constriction seemed to dull the pain a little bit when she was unable to take potions. There was only so many potions the body could handle.
Rebekkah walked past the clanging of swords against each other, the sounds of swords hitting shields. It was calming. That was the sound of home. The sounds of soldiers training, getting better. She could hear Cul--The Commander barking orders. She had to remind herself to address him as his title, they didn't know each other anymore. She hurried up the stairs towards her cottage to change and bathe. The report would come but first she needed to be clean.
Rebekkah boiled her own water and was happy to strip down once the water was tolerable and bathe. She scrubbed the dirt off and out of her hair. Then dried off and put off clean clothes and combed her hair. She drained the tub. What she hadn't expected was the knock at the door. The mage steeled herself. "Back into the lion's den we go," she muttered to herself and opened the door.
Who she found on the other side was not who she expected. "C--Commander Cullen," she was dumbfounded, "has something happened? Is everything alright?"
“Are you alright?” - Cassandra
White knuckled, gloved hands clutched the edge of his desk. His grip was tight, the wood dug into his palms. Sweat beaded at his hairline as he slowly lifted his gaze to meet the Seeker’s. “Cassandra.” Jaw clenched, he focused on slowing the ragged breaths escaping his lungs. Amber eyes radiated with a vulnerability that he seldom would allow himself to show. “I’m not sure if I’m strong enough to do this…”

She had been uneasy when the hahren had spoken on the union. Not because of the arrangement, no that was their custom, a right of passage into adulthood. But she had been uneasy about the life she would lead after. Life was hard enough when she had such a small family, surely adding more mouths to feed, more lives to wager, would be a mistake?
Aliena did not have the luxury of safety, city elves never did as her own mother had found out. Sure she had been unnerved at the prospect of never meeting this elf before they were united for life, but her father had refused to part with his only daughter and Aliena could take comfort in the fact that she’d still be surrounded by family. The only things the hahren had said about her intended was that he was a black smith, a good one at that. And that he was said to be handsome, not that Aliena took much note, the worry was to prominate for that.
Putting on her mothers, rough wedding silks, gave her courage, the old matterial, though fadded was more beautful than anything she had ever seen. Wild flowers were laced into her untameable tousled hair, before she was deemed suitable to meet him. Like always she was quick on her feet, it was Soris who trailed behind, always one cautious step. “-I-ah yes, I hope your trip wasn’t too tiresome.” She spoke, upon coming face to face with her future husband. dark lareg eyes, flickred about him, taking in the small details, from his equaly dark hair, to the way he said her name.
