hi, you don't knownme from a hole in the head, but i have hyperT4 knowledge and: the bad kidneys is more a result of the damage a hyperT4 metabolism does than the meds itself & how the body copes with regressing from that the actually drug is essentially the same no matter the route, pills are easier to dose correctly surgery can work well but there are risks & it's best done on medically stabilised patients finally, there's also radiotherapy treatment for hyperT4 :)
Ah! Thank you so much! I really appreciate the information--it sounds like asking about surgery and radiotherapy would be a good idea, if the kidney damage happens because of the hyperT4 itself. I will definitely ask the vet and see if he thinks they’re options for her!
