Is this going to be that moment before Yhwach takes him out and Ichigo screams in horror at it?

This expression change is SO subtle, but clearly important. I love it.

It's got a strange sort of heartbreak to it. It fully captures the regret and realization and resolution of that moment when he once-more tries to speak to Ichigo and tell him the truth.

I'm really hoping they let them talk in the anime. Even if it isn't manga-canon, it would be fun to see a what-if of how that conversation could have gone.

I am so ready to see ALL the Aizen and Ichigo moments animated, even if nothing else in the final season is interesting, that should be.
