So I put a quick flashback on my story the other day, going back to this incredible shoot for #etcmagazine with Helen Russell, @amandabellmua and Lingerie By Annette. I shot this as a 21 year old who had just been told to "shoot more Lingerie" if I wanted to get a major market agent, and sure enough I got signed 5 months after this hit newsstands. I am still filled with pride when I look at this piece - I grew up with virtually nobody in the spotlight whose appearance I could relate to, so to be out there for others to look up to is such a crazy feeling. This shoot was inspired by THAT incredible Italian Vogue editorial starring @robynlawley @candicehuffine @taralynn and @marquitapring - nobody can tell me curves don't belong in editorials or on runways because those editorials or runways are "fantasy" and nobody can tell me the world wouldn't welcome a bit more body diversity in the industry (and by that I mean bodies of all sizes, not one or the other!).
