“Lots of things. Hell, most things. Hard to say just one. I trust him.” (Trust is a major thing for Kieryl hedoesn’t give it easily and almost never completely.)

“He’d get hurt forme. He has before and I don’t think he can ever understand just exactly howthat’s the last fucking thing I’d ever want.” (The thought of someonegetting hurt or dying for him will probably always be a very raw wound forKieryl. While he loves that he can trust Kieros to care about him that much healso really doesn’t like it.)

“I was mad as hellat him. He came stomping into the Outpost like he owned the place determined tohave his fucking way no matter what I said. I guess I wasn’t really scared ofhim even then, though and that’s something I didn’t realize ‘til later.”(Kieryl was angry but some of his deep impressions were still somewhatpositive. He tends to have gut reactions and underneath being angry and worriedfor the Lynxes there was a part of him that was aware Kieros was a good man.)
