Velvet / In Vic Tus, is a materialisation of Mary's romantic feelings towards Lily.
This manifestation in human form occurs due to both Mary and Lily being stuck in a time loop, where as time goes on Mary begins resenting Lily and turning these loving feeling into one of pure hatred.
In this recurring cycle, there are natural laws it must obey, one of them being that every subject must remain the same before and after the cycle is broken. Thus creating an amygdalite of Mary (Velvet).
Velvet understands where she comes from, what her purpose is and what she must do to make Lily happy, almost like a robot with no real opinion's just following whatever might please Lily.
